Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, your safari journey begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wilderness renowned for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant herds. As you enter the park, begin exploring its golden savannahs, riverine landscapes, and diverse habitats.
Keep watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and birdlife gathering around the Tarangire River and surrounding water sources. With sweeping landscapes providing a beautiful backdrop, the day offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.
Around midday, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. Continue your game drive through the afternoon before leaving Tarangire and travelling towards the lush highlands of Karatu.

Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, journey through the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the vast plains of the Central Serengeti. As the landscape opens before you, the endless horizons and abundant wildlife reveal why this region is one of Tanzania’s most celebrated safari destinations.
Spend the afternoon exploring the renowned Seronera Valley, a wildlife-rich area known for excellent predator sightings. Keep watch for lions, elusive leopards, swift cheetahs, and other wildlife moving across the plains and around the valley’s distinctive granite kopjes.

Wake early to the sounds of the African bush and set out for a morning game drive across the Serengeti. The cool early hours are an excellent time for wildlife viewing, with predators often active and large herds beginning to move across the golden plains. Keep watch for lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, zebra, and other wildlife as the landscape comes alive around you.
After an exhilarating morning of exploration, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti. Take a final moment to appreciate the vast wilderness before beginning your scenic journey out of the park.
As the afternoon progresses, travel back towards the Ngorongoro Highlands and continue down into the fertile landscapes of Karatu. By evening, arrive at Farm of Dreams Lodge, where you can wash away the safari dust, enjoy a delightful dinner, and settle into a comfortable overnight stay before your final day of adventure.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend approximately 600 metres from the rim into this extraordinary volcanic caldera, where the enclosed ecosystem supports an incredible concentration of wildlife.
Spend the morning exploring the crater floor on a game drive, with opportunities to encounter the rare black rhino, majestic lions, elephants, buffaloes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. At Lake Magadi, keep watch for flamingos gathered along the shallow waters, adding colour to the dramatic crater landscape.
Enjoy your final safari picnic lunch within the crater, surrounded by its remarkable scenery and wildlife. Afterward, ascend the steep crater walls and begin your journey back towards Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward travel.
