Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its impressive baobab trees, large elephant herds, and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy a game drive through the park, with opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and numerous bird species. After the safari, continue to Karatu for a relaxing evening.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Ndutu area. Begin with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra gathering on the plains, particularly during the calving period.

Continue exploring throughout the day, following the movement of wildlife and searching for the predators that closely follow the herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari.

After breakfast, leave Ndutu and continue toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a scenic game drive en route as you cross the vast plains, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.

Arrive in the central Serengeti, an area famous for its year-round wildlife and excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game. Continue to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Explore different areas of the park with your experienced guide and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the wilderness. Continue your afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge in time to relax and enjoy your final evening in the Serengeti.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a final wildlife experience in one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural ecosystems.

The crater is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. After your game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to the airport for your onward flight.
