We will travel directly to the lodge in Hazyview and arrive between 11:30 and 12:00. Guests will have time to relax, unpack and enjoy a light lunch and also time to swim or take a walk around the beautiful lodge or its walking trails.
We depart at around 16:00 for a sunset/night safari in the Kruger National Park before returning to the lodge between 19:30 and 20:00 for a scrumptious dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 2

Full-Day Open Vehicle Safari in the Kruger National Park
A morning safari is the best time to see wildlife, especially predators. Your guide will choose the best areas of the park to explore on this Kruger Park game drive. During this morning’s adventure, we will see a variety of wildlife, and we’ll hopefully encounter the Big 5.
The lodge will arrange breakfast packs, and after about 3 hours of driving, your guide will stop for breakfast and a bathroom break, with a chance to get a coffee. We then continue with the safari. Kruger Park is home to a variety of eco zones, and each has different wildlife to see. During the safari, we will visit rivers and waterholes as well as the vast open plains and the park’s bushveld regions.
We will stop for lunch at a rest camp, where you will pay for your own meal.

Day 3

The Panorama Route begins 45 minutes after leaving Hazyview. Along the way, we'll climb almost 1,000 meters into the magnificent Northern Drakensberg Mountain range. Temperatures up here vary a lot from Hazyview, so bring a jacket and comfortable walking shoes, as we do some lovely walks during the day.
After a day of sightseeing, we'll stop in the small, misty town of Graskop for lunch and some curio shopping. The town is famous for its delicious pancakes, so we’ll be stopping for lunch at the town’s pancake restaurant. There are some great locally owned shops waiting to be explored, and guests will have more than enough time to enjoy a stroll through the town.
We arrive back at the lodge at about 16:00.

Day 4

Morning Safari and Transfer Back to Johannesburg
Today is our last safari, and again we depart from the lodge before sunrise. We will have another packed breakfast at one of the rest camps or picnic sites. The guide will focus on finding the animals we couldn’t see on previous safaris, and as always, we hope to see lions and leopards, as they are most active in the early mornings. Kruger National Park has 148 mammal species and over 500 bird species, so there's plenty to see and photograph on each game drive.
After a short breakfast and coffee stop, we will continue with the safari as we make our way back to the lodge at around 12:00.
Here you can say goodbye to your guide, and there is time to freshen up before the journey back to Johannesburg. Clients are collected by the shuttle at around 12:30, and you will return to Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo shuttle terminal or a lodge within a 5 km radius of the airport, arriving between 17:00 and 18:00.
