Transfer from Johannesburg & Sunset/Night safari

We will travel directly to the lodge in Hazyview and arrive between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm.
Guests will have time to relax, unpack, and enjoy a light lunch, and there is also time to go for a swim or for a walk around the beautiful lodge or its walking trails.

We depart at around 16:00 pm for a 3 Hour Sunset/Night Safari in the Kruger National Park on a private concession before returning to the lodge at approximately 19:30 or 20:00 pm for a scrumptious dinner, and a good night’s rest.

Full Day Open Vehicle Safari in the Kruger National Park

All safaris start before sunrise, the best time to enter the park and spot wildlife, especially predators. After a short drive, we enter Kruger National Park and your guide will take you to areas known for excellent wildlife sightings.

The lodge will provide breakfast packs. After around three hours of game viewing, we stop for breakfast, a bathroom break and coffee before continuing our safari. We explore Kruger’s diverse eco-zones, visiting rivers, watering holes, plains and Bushveld areas, each offering unique wildlife experiences.

Lunch is enjoyed at a rest camp at your own expense, with time for curio shopping or a refreshing drink. We then continue our safari back towards the lodge, arriving around 15:30–16:00, with time to relax, swim and enjoy dinner.

Full Day Open Vehicle Safari in the Kruger National Park

We set off for the Kruger before sunrise and the guide will choose the best areas of the park to explore on this morning’s game drive. During this morning’s adventure, we will keep a look out for wildlife, including the Big 5, and there’s a good chance of seeing predators, which are more active during the early morning.

The lodge will arrange breakfast packs and after about 3 hours of driving, your guide will stop for breakfast and bathroom break, and there is also a chance to get a coffee. We then continue with the safari.

We then stop for lunch at a rest camp, where this meal will be on your own account. While here there will be time to do some curio shopping or to indulge in a cold beer!

The guide will then continue with the safari, as you make your way back towards the lodge. We arrive back at between 15:30 and 16:00 pm, with enough time to relax, swim and have a great dinner.

Morning Safari and Transfer back to Johannesburg

This is the last safari of your trip and again we depart from the lodge before sunrise. During the morning, we will have another packed breakfast at one of the rest camps or at a picnic site.

On this day, the guide will focus on finding animals we couldn’t find on the first 2 Kruger Park safaris. The Kruger National Park has 148 mammal species and over 500 bird species. We especially hope to see lion and leopard as they are most active in the early mornings.

After a short breakfast and coffee stop, we will continue with the safari, and we will return to the lodge at around 12:00 pm.

Here you say goodbye to your guide and freshen up before you make the journey back to Johannesburg. Clients will be collected by the shuttle at between 12:00 and 12:30 pm, and we will return to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport shuttle terminal and lodges within a 5 km radius, arriving between 17:00 and 18:00 pm.
