Flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere & Full-Day Game Drive

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar and a comfortable transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park.

Upon arrival at the airstrip, your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you and give you a short safari briefing before starting your first game drive.

You will then enjoy a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, exploring its beautiful savannahs, woodlands, lakes, and wildlife-rich areas.

You may have the opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, lions, and many different bird species.

A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive. In the late afternoon, continue to Africa Safari Selous for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, depart for another full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park.

With a full day in the park, there is plenty of time to explore different areas and enjoy the wildlife at a relaxed pace. Your experienced safari guide will select the best areas based on wildlife movements and recent sightings.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with the game drive into the afternoon.

Later, return to Africa Safari Selous for dinner and overnight.

Sunrise Boat Safari, Village Visit & Flight to Zanzibar

Wake up early for a beautiful sunrise boat safari on the Rufiji River.

Cruise along the river as the sun rises, with opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife along the riverbanks.

After the boat safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and some time to refresh.

Later, enjoy a local village visit, where you can experience the local community and learn more about everyday life in this part of Tanzania.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will meet you and provide a comfortable transfer back to your hotel.
