Nairobi to Masai Mara

07:00 AM – Depart Nairobi, driving through the Great Rift Valley. Stop at scenic viewpoints for photography and enjoy the sweeping landscapes.

10:30 AM – Short stop over at view point and later at Narok town for refreshments and a chance to browse local crafts.

01:00 PM – Arrive at your lodge/camp in the Masai Mara.
Check-in and have lunch in readiness for an afternoon game drive.

03:00 PM – 04:30 PM – Afternoon game drive. Time to explore the savannah, spot elephants, giraffes, zebras and possibly your first lion pride. This shorter drive eases you into the safari while still offering exciting wildlife encounters.

07:00 PM – Head back to the lodge and have dinner. Relax by the campfire, enjoy storytelling from guides or stargaze under the vast African sky.

Exploring the heart of the Mara

06:00 AM – 08:30 AM – After an early breakfast, head out for a sunrise game drive. Predators on the hunt, elephants grazing &herds of wildebeest sweeping across the plains. The crisp morning light makes for stunning photography.

10:00 AM – 01:00 PM – Extended game drive deeper into the reserve. Explore diverse habitats, rolling grasslands, acacia woodlands & the Mara River ecosystem. Spot hippos, crocodiles & vibrant birdlife. Picnic lunch in the wild.

02:00 PM – 03:30 PM – Visit a Maasai village. Engage with warriors and elders, learn about traditional beadwork, cattle culture & age-old customs. Participate in dances, storytelling & gain insight into how the Maasai coexist with wildlife.

03:30 PM – 05:00 PM – Afternoon game drive en route back to the lodge. Golden-hour light sets the stage for dramatic photos & sightings of nocturnal animals beginning to stir.

07:00 PM – Dinner at the lodge/camp followed by optional campfire storytelling or stargazing under the vast Mara skies.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

07:00 AM – Leisurely breakfast at the lodge/camp.

08:30 AM – Check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi, retracing the scenic Great Rift Valley route.

01:00 PM – 02:00 PM – Arrival and drop off within Nairobi.

Optional lunch at the Carnivore restaurant. At an extra cost ranging from USD 50 Per person. Later have a complimentary drop off at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport.
