Arrival In Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, where you will be warmly welcomed by our team at the airport or another agreed meeting point. After completing arrival formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city. Depending on your arrival time, the journey to your accommodation may provide your first glimpse of Tanzania’s lively streets, surrounding farmland, and distant mountain scenery.
Arusha is a pleasant and culturally diverse city situated beneath Mount Meru. It is an important starting point for safaris to Tarangire, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once you arrive at the hotel, you will have time to check in, freshen up, and settle into your room. Your safari guide may meet you for a briefing about the days ahead, including the route, expected weather, wildlife-viewing etiquette, meal arrangements, and practical information about luggage and personal belongings.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After entering the park, begin your game drive through a landscape shaped by grasslands, acacia woodland, riverine vegetation, and towering baobabs. These trees, with their thick trunks and unusual branches, create some of the most recognizable scenery in northern Tanzania. Your guide will drive slowly and carefully, stopping whenever there is an interesting sighting or an opportunity to photograph the landscape.
Elephants are among Tarangire’s most memorable residents. Herds may be seen moving between feeding areas, resting beneath trees, or approaching the river to drink. You may also encounter zebras, wildebeests, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and various antelope species. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are present as well, although sightings are never guaranteed and depend on conditions, timing, and the animals’ movements.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart from your accommodation and begin the journey toward Serengeti National Park. This is one of the most scenic and exciting travel days of the itinerary, as the landscape gradually changes from the woodland and savannah of Tarangire to the vast open plains associated with the Serengeti. The journey may take several hours, depending on the route, road conditions, and planned stops, but the changing scenery makes the drive an important part of the safari experience.
As you travel, you may pass through rural communities, cultivated areas, and highland landscapes before approaching the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route offers views of rolling hills, volcanic terrain, and expansive grasslands. Your guide will explain how local communities, livestock, agriculture, conservation, and tourism coexist in this region. The journey also provides opportunities to observe everyday life beyond the national parks.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. A full day in the park allows you to travel farther, explore different habitats, and spend more time observing animal behavior without the pressure of reaching another destination. The exact route will depend on the season, recent wildlife sightings, weather, road conditions, and your interests.
Begin early, often before sunrise, when the air is cool and wildlife is particularly active. An early departure may provide opportunities to see predators returning from a night of hunting, herbivores beginning to graze, and birds becoming active as the first light reaches the plains. Sunrise over the Serengeti can be spectacular, with soft colors spreading across the horizon and long shadows emphasizing the scale of the landscape.
During the morning drive, look for lions resting near rocky outcrops, beneath bushes, or beside a recent kill. Cheetahs may be scanning the plains from a raised mound.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers a final opportunity to enjoy the Serengeti’s scenery and wildlife. Depending on your departure arrangements, you may have an early game drive before leaving the park or travel directly toward the crater. Your guide will coordinate the timing carefully to ensure that the day remains comfortable and that you reach your onward connection as planned.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable destinations. It combines dramatic volcanic scenery, rich wildlife habitats, and a long history of human settlement. The Ngorongoro Crater was formed when a large volcano collapsed after a major eruption. Today, the crater floor contains grasslands, wetlands, woodland, and a soda lake, creating a compact ecosystem that supports a high concentration of wildlife.
