Encountering the Wildlife of Okonjima

After breakfast, meet your guide, who will accompany you throughout this new stage of your Namibian adventure.

Depart towards Otjiwarongo, a charming town surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of central Namibia. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and settle into your Classic Room.

In the afternoon, embark on a shared safari excursion led by the lodge’s experienced guide. As the sun begins to set over the Namibian wilderness, keep your eyes open for wildlife and enjoy the changing colours of the landscape. This first safari offers a wonderful introduction to Namibia’s rich fauna and the unique atmosphere of its bush.

Return to the lodge after sunset and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

In the early morning, enjoy a final safari in the heart of the Okonjima Private Reserve during a shared vehicle outing, offering another opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. Following this experience, drive towards the famous Etosha National Park. Along the way, stop for lunch at a wine farm, where you will discover a peaceful setting in the heart of the Namibian countryside. In the afternoon, continue your journey to the northern gate of Etosha, then check in at your lodge located outside the park, ideally situated to set off and discover one of Africa’s largest wildlife reserves the very next day.

After breakfast, set off on your first safari through the legendary Etosha National Park, one of Namibia’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Climb aboard an open-top 4×4 vehicle and venture deep into the heart of this vast wilderness.

After breakfast, enjoy a free morning to explore Swakopmund at your own pace. Stroll through the charming streets, discover the town’s German colonial architecture or simply take in its relaxed coastal atmosphere. Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m.

Meanwhile, your guide will leave in the morning with your luggage and head towards Sesriem, where you will continue your Namibian adventure.

Later, an English-speaking transfer will take you to Swakopmund Airport. From there, board a Cessna aircraft for a spectacular scenic flight over southern Namibia. Admire the country’s vast and contrasting landscapes from above before landing near your lodge.

Upon arrival, transfer to the lodge, check in and settle into your Standard Room. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take in your first impressions of the stunning desert environment.

Your room must be vacated at around 10:00 a.m. You will then be transferred to the international airport by a shared, English-speaking transfer service, in time for your return flight.
