You depart Arusha after breakfast for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its iconic, ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. You'll spend the day on a game drive tracking wildlife along the Tarangire River, the park's vital water source where elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions gather, before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

You will depart your camp after breakfast and travel through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands toward the vast, endless plains of Serengeti National Park. You will enter through the Naabi Hill Gate and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley, tracking big cats, giraffes, and grazing herds before settling into your Central Serengeti camp for dinner and your first night under the stars.

You will spend a full day exploring the rich heart of the central Serengeti, setting out on early morning and afternoon game drives when predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are most active. You track vast herds across the open savannah, observe wildlife around the Seronera River, before returning to camp for a second relaxing evening.

Day 4

You begin the day with a final sunrise game drive in the Serengeti to catch early-morning wildlife activity and big cats on the prowl. Afterward, you will enjoy a scenic game drive en route out of the park and journey toward Karatu to check in to your lodge for dinner and rest before tomorrow's crater descent.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
You will descend early in the morning into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an action-packed game drive on the caldera floor, home to an incredible density of wildlife, including lions, hippos, and rare black rhinos. After enjoying a picnic lunch beside the Hippo Pool, you will ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon to conclude your safari.
