Nairobi to samburu National reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north through Kenya’s scenic countryside towards Samburu. Enjoy a stop along the way for refreshments before continuing to your lodge or camp.

Arrive in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and Samburu's unique wildlife species, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx.

Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day Samburu National Reserve

Start the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and search for predators and other animals around the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax during the heat of the day. After lunch, enjoy another game drive through different areas of the reserve. You may also have the opportunity to visit a local Samburu community and learn about their traditional culture and way of life.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
