1-Day Express Uganda Gorilla Trekking from Kigali Rwanda

• You'll be collected from the airport.

On this day you will be welcomed by our representative from Abunda Discoveries Uganda Start the journey from Kigali at around 2:30–3:00 AM in a private safari vehicle. Drive south toward the Rwanda–Uganda border at Gatuna/Katuna, enjoying the beautiful countryside and rolling hills of Rwanda. The Katuna route is commonly used for travelers heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park sectors.

Border Crossing – Katuna/Gatuna
Arrive at the border and complete Rwanda exit and Uganda entry formalities. Travelers should have the required passport and immigration documents ready. After crossing into Uganda, continue toward Kabale, then proceed through the scenic Kigali highlands toward Ruhija upon arrival you will be briefed and start your gorilla trekking experience where you will spend 1 hour with the gorillas viewing them in their natural habitat while following the ranger's instructions. This is a memorable opportunity to appreciate Uganda's mountain gorillas after drive back to Kigali.
