Arrival in Nairobi and Safari Brief

​Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be warmly met by Travelpros Africa Safaris representative for a meet, greet, and safari briefing. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the historic Sarova Stanley Hotel for check-in and an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis as you prepare for your safari.

Transfer to Samburu National Reserve

​After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive north toward Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon siesta before setting out on an afternoon game drive through the rugged northern reserve. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve

Spend a full day in Samburu tracking lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the "Samburu Special Five": Reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and Gerenuk.
