Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and depart directly for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destinations. After entering the park, enjoy an exciting game drive through vast landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and crossed by the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and many bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive in search of more wildlife and breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel, relaxing and preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, travel to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a simple guided hike through lush landscapes and local villages. Visit the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, followed by an authentic coffee tour where you will learn how local coffee is grown, roasted, and prepared. Enjoy traditional songs and dances, taste delicious local food, and experience the warm Chagga culture. Weather permitting, you will have a wonderful chance to enjoy and photograph the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the evening, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
