Our representative will pick from your place of residence in kigali and transfer you to Akagera National Park. We recommend that you spend an overnight in Kigali so that you are relaxed and ready for your amazing safari to Rwanda. You will kick start your journey to Akagera National Park where you will spend one night at an excellent lodge. On arrival after you have checked in. You will start your with game drive to see grazers such rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and impalas and many other savannah birds. You will retire at your lodge.

Gorilla tracking and transfer to kigali city

Your gorilla trekking experience will begin in the morning with a hearty breakfast. You will drive to the park headquarters with a packed lunch where you will meet the park ranger guide at 7 am for registration. He will take you through a briefing about the dos and don'ts while tracking and will then lead you to the forest to trek the endangered mountain gorillas.

The mountain gorilla trekking lasts from 1 to 8 hours, depending on where the gorilla family is spotted because they keep moving to look for food. It will be exciting, as you will be enjoying the calls of the birds and seeing other primates as you search for the endangered mountain gorillas. After a successful trek, You will embark on a scenic journey to Kigali for your connecting flight or at your place of residence in kigali.
