Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with breath-taking views and photo stops along the way. By lunchtime, you’ll arrive at the Lodge, where a warm welcome and a freshly prepared meal await. After settling in, you will head out for your first afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannahs in search of elephants, lions, giraffes and perhaps a cheetah on the hunt. As dusk falls, return to the lodge for a hearty dinner, followed by stories and relaxation around a glowing bonfire. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge, surrounded by the magical sounds of the Mara wilderness.

Exploring Masai Mara

You'll begin your day with an early morning game drive, the perfect time to witness predators on the hunt and grazers awakening to the golden light of dawn. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before setting out once more, this time with a packed lunch for a full-day exploration of the Mara’s endless plains. You'll spend the morning tracking the Big Five and marvelling at the sweeping herds of wildebeest, zebras and giraffes. Pause midday for a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the sights and sounds of Africa’s most iconic reserve. In the afternoon, enrich your journey with a visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll meet the locals, learn about their customs, and experience their culture first-hand. As the sun sets, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on a day filled with adventure and cultural discovery.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

You'll wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Lodge. After check-out, begin your journey back to Nairobi, carrying with you memories of the Mara. Along the way, you'll pause for two delightful stopovers, one for snack shopping at a local market & another at the breath-taking Rift Valley Viewpoint, where sweeping panoramas provide the perfect backdrop for photos. You'll arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
