Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National park

Arusha to Tarangire National park

Depart from Arusha at around 8:00 AM and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park for a full day of unforgettable wildlife viewing. As you enter the park, discover a landscape of golden savannahs, seasonal swamps, winding river channels, and magnificent ancient baobab trees.

Enjoy an extensive game drive through this wildlife-rich wilderness, where you may encounter impressive herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and an extraordinary variety of birdlife. Keep watch for predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they move through the plains.

Depending on the time of year, witness vast herds of wildebeest gathering across the open plains, with newborn calves taking their first steps and predators closely following the movements of the herds. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife may be encountered during your exploration.
