After breakfast, depart Karatu towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views of the highlands along the way. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive across its fertile floor. This natural amphitheatre is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and numerous bird species. Explore its grasslands, wetlands and woodland before ascending the crater walls.
