Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Your Tanzanian safari adventure begins with your arrival in Arusha, the gateway to some of the country’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide, who will assist you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.

Once at the hotel, you’ll have time to relax and settle in after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, take a short rest, or explore a little of Arusha at your own pace.
Later in the day, your safari guide will meet you for a friendly briefing about the adventure ahead. You’ll go through the safari itinerary, daily activities, travel arrangements, and what to expect during your game drives.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Arusha. Rest well and get ready for an exciting journey into Tanzania’s wilderness the following morning.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, your safari adventure officially begins as you leave Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park. As the city fades behind you, enjoy the changing scenery of Tanzania, passing through local villages, farms, and beautiful countryside along the way.

Upon reaching Tarangire, you’ll enter the park and begin your first exciting game drive. The park is famous for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich variety of wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many different bird species.
Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later in the afternoon, leave the park and head to your lodge or tented camp. Take some time to relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and share stories about the day over dinner.

Day 3

Serengeti

After breakfast, continue your Tanzania safari towards the magnificent Serengeti National Park. Today is a beautiful transition from the landscapes of Tarangire to the vast, open plains of the Serengeti.

Enjoy the scenic drive as you pass through the countryside and gradually reach the famous Serengeti plains. Once inside the park, begin your game drive with your private safari guide. The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, and you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many different bird species.
Take a break for a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your guide will choose the best areas to explore, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy wildlife and capture memorable photographs.

In the late afternoon, make your way to your lodge or camp. Relax after an exciting day, enjoy dinner, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Serengeti as the sounds of the wilderness surround you.

Day 4

After breakfast, you’ll set out for your final game drive in the Serengeti. This is a wonderful chance to enjoy the park one more time and perhaps come across some of the animals you may have missed during the previous days. Your guide will choose the route based on recent wildlife sightings, giving you the best possible opportunity to experience the Serengeti before leaving.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive is an experience in itself as the open plains of the Serengeti gradually give way to the beautiful highlands surrounding Ngorongoro.
Upon arrival in the Ngorongoro area, you’ll check in and have some time to settle in and relax after the day’s activities. Enjoy dinner at your lodge or camp and get a good night’s rest, as tomorrow brings one of the highlights of your safari exploring the Ngorongoro Crate.

Today, prepare for one of the highlights of your safari as you descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Surrounded by towering crater walls, the vast floor is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife and offers breathtaking scenery at every turn.

Spend the day exploring the crater’s diverse landscapes, from open grasslands and acacia woodlands to wetlands and the shimmering Lake Magadi. Along the way, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with some luck, the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of this extraordinary ecosystem, with the dramatic crater landscape creating a truly memorable backdrop. After an exciting day of wildlife encounters, ascend the crater in the late afternoon and continue to your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, travel to the shores of Lake Eyasi for a fascinating cultural experience with the Hadzabe people, one of Tanzania’s indigenous communities. Step away from the usual safari trail and experience a way of life deeply connected to nature, community, and ancestral traditions.
Spend time with the Hadzabe community as they share aspects of their traditional lifestyle, including their knowledge of the land, hunting traditions, gathering practices, traditional tools, music, and daily customs.
