Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha and a scenic drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and diverse wildlife.

After entering the park, enjoy a full-day game drive with a private safari guide, exploring the Tarangire River and surrounding wildlife areas. Expect opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes, and many species of birds.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, followed by more afternoon game viewing before exiting Tarangire.

Continue to Burunge Tented Lodge, located near Lake Burunge, for your overnight stay. Relax, enjoy the lodge's peaceful surroundings, and experience a beautiful African sunset.

Morning game drive Lunch and Drive to Arusha

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the African bush and enjoy breakfast at the lodge.

After breakfast, return to Tarangire National Park for an early morning game drive, when wildlife is particularly active and the cooler temperatures provide excellent conditions for photography.

Explore different areas of the park in search of wildlife and enjoy the changing landscapes of Tarangire. After the game drive, depart the park and drive back toward Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 2-Day Luxury Tarangire Safari.
