After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the park and searching for more wildlife. After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the scenic drive from Amboseli toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in the Lake Nakuru area in time for lunch and some relaxation before your afternoon safari. Later, enter the park for a game drive around the lake and surrounding woodland. Look out for rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife. The park is also known for its beautiful lake scenery and seasonal concentrations of flamingos. For guests who prefer a regular game drive, depart early by safari vehicle and explore the reserve in search of lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Continue toward the Mara River, an important wildlife area where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and animals gathering along the riverbanks. Enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch at your lodge before continuing the afternoon game drive.
