You will depart early in the morning from Kilimanjaro or Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities in a serene setting. After exploring the park and enjoying a picnic or an en route lunch, you will continue your journey to Karatu, a charming town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes approximately two hours, followed by another two-hour scenic drive to Karatu. You will arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, enjoy a well-prepared dinner, and unwind after a rewarding day of travel and wildlife exploration, ready for the adventures ahead.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater offers a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five. Lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards—as well as zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife.
In the afternoon, continue exploring this natural sanctuary before ascending back to the rim. You will then return to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, followed by a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, enjoying an en-route game drive as you journey through the diverse landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the vast plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, you will have opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife, including antelopes, giraffes, elephants, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. You will stop at a scenic location to enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your drive deeper into the park, with more game viewing along the way. This is a full and rewarding day of travel and exploration, offering a true sense of the Serengeti’s scale and beauty. You will arrive at Kumbukumbu Luxury Tented Camp (Central Serengeti) in the late afternoon, where you can relax, freshen up, and enjoy dinner before settling in for an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the iconic Serengeti National Park, focusing on the wildlife-rich central Serengeti, also known as Seronera. This region is renowned for its year-round abundance of wildlife. It is one of the best places to spot big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species. You may also encounter elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and a diverse array of birdlife. With its open plains and scattered kopjes, the central Serengeti offers excellent game viewing and photography opportunities. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild, before continuing your exploration into the afternoon. Later, return to Kumbukumbu Luxury Tented Camp (Central Serengeti) to relax, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 5
Central to Northern Serengeti National Park
Central to Northern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of your camp in the central Serengeti and begin your journey toward the northern Serengeti, enjoying a rewarding en route game drive. This scenic transition takes you across vast plains and changing landscapes, offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife along the way, including elephants, giraffes, large herds of wildebeest and zebras, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. A picnic lunch will be served in a designated area within the park, allowing you to relax while immersed in the wilderness.
As you approach the northern Serengeti, the terrain becomes more riverine and remote, especially around the Mara River, famous for dramatic wildlife encounters and, seasonally, the Great Migration crossings. Upon arrival, you will continue with an afternoon and evening game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting diverse wildlife in this less crowded region.

Day 6
Transfer and drop off at Seronera
Transfer and drop off at Seronera
After an early breakfast, you will check out of your camp and begin your transfer to Seronera Airstrip, enjoying a final en-route game drive through the central Serengeti. This last drive offers a wonderful opportunity to spot wildlife you may have missed, including big cats, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of plains game, while taking in the Serengeti's iconic scenery one last time.
Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, you will be assisted with your check-in and boarding procedures for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar or back to Arusha (flight not included).
This marks the end of your unforgettable Serengeti safari, leaving you with lasting memories of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
