Drive to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast at 7 am, you will head to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Rhinos that got wiped out in the Ugandan wild, are being bred here before re-introduction into the national parks. On arrival at the sanctuary, a guide and armed rangers will take you on either a walking or a vehicle safari to search for the rhinos. Once you have spotted the rhinos, you will stay in their presence for a while before enjoying a bush picnic lunch in the sanctuary’s grounds. After lunch, you will return to your vehicle to complete your transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival, you will check in at IkoromSafariLodge for your overnight stay.

Game Drive & Boat Safari to Bottom of Falls

Wake up early morning for a cup of coffee then to the park in search of morning risers along the northern bank of Pakuba through the well-distributed game tracks of the park this time is when animals are most active as each one of them comes out to graze or hunt for the carnivorous animals expect to see lions, jackals, hyenas, leopards, African elephants, African buffaloes, oribi, Rothschilds giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks to mention a few, we will return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls passing across the pale granite along the banks is phenomenal the sun basking Nile crocodiles and hippos cherry the top of the journey the roaring sound of the river makes it even more intriguing this amazing cruise takes 2-3 hours returning to meet your guide who will transfer you to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight.

Drive to Entebbe & Departure

Today, wake up at your own leisure and enjoy breakfast. Relax in and around the beautiful lodge ahead of your check-out at 10 am. You will commence your transfer back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Masindi. You will arrive in Kampala in the early evening and continue to Entebbe International Airport. You will be dropped off at the airport in time for your departure.
