Amboseli National Park

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast in Nairobi before checking out and transferring to Wilson Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic aerial views of the Kenyan countryside and, on a clear day, magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you approach the park.

Upon arrival at the Amboseli airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to Ol Tukai Lodge. The drive to the lodge becomes your first taste of Amboseli, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife along the way.

After checking in, settle into the lodge and enjoy some time to relax and take in the spectacular surroundings. Later in the afternoon, set out on a sunset game drive, when the park comes alive with activity and the changing light creates beautiful views across the Amboseli plains, with Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop.

Amboseli National Park

Begin the day with an early morning game drive through Amboseli National Park, when wildlife is most active and the cool morning air offers excellent viewing conditions. Search for the park’s famous elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and abundant birdlife, with Mount Kilimanjaro creating a spectacular backdrop.

Return to Ol Tukai Lodge for breakfast before enjoying a relaxed afternoon at leisure. Take a refreshing swim, unwind in the gardens, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

In the late afternoon, depart for a sunset game drive, exploring the plains as wildlife becomes active again. Pause at a scenic spot to watch the sun set over Amboseli before returning to the lodge. The evening continues with a leisurely dinner, followed by time around the lodge to relax, enjoy a drink, listen to the sounds of the African night and reflect on the day’s safari experiences.

Amboseli National Park

Rise early, around 4:00–5:00 am, for a transfer from Ol Tukai Lodge to the balloon launch site. Enjoy tea or coffee as you watch the balloon being inflated, followed by a safety briefing before climbing aboard. As dawn breaks, gently lift into the sky and drift silently over Amboseli’s plains, forests and wetlands, guided by the wind. From above, enjoy a unique perspective of wildlife below while your pilot points out elephants, giraffes, zebras and other game. After approximately an hour, descend onto the plains, where a memorable bush breakfast awaits.

After breakfast, transfer back to Ol Tukai Lodge for a relaxed afternoon. Later, set out on a sunset game drive, exploring the park as wildlife becomes active in the cooler evening hours. Enjoy spectacular views and golden African sunsets before returning to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Enjoy an early breakfast at Ol Tukai Lodge before checking out and transferring to the Amboseli airstrip. The drive to the airstrip offers a final opportunity to enjoy the park’s scenery and spot wildlife along the way.

Board your scheduled light aircraft flight back to Nairobi, taking in scenic aerial views of the Kenyan landscape as you leave Amboseli behind. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, meet your driver and transfer to MGallery Gem Forest Hotel.

Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax at the hotel, explore the surrounding Karen area, or simply unwind after your Amboseli adventure. Overnight at the hotel, ready for your onward journey the following day.
