Fly to Ndutu – Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast in Arusha or arrive at (JRO), you will connect to fly to the Ndutu area. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will meet you and begin your first game drive.

Explore the Ndutu plains, which become a spectacular nursery during the calving season. Thousands of wildebeest and other herbivores gather in the area, while predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas follow the herds.

Enjoy your game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay in the Ndutu area.

Full-Day Ndutu Game Drive – Calving Season

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the Ndutu plains with a packed lunch.

This is the heart of your calving-season experience. The grasslands are filled with wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, and you may witness newborn animals taking their first steps. The abundance of young animals also attracts predators, creating excellent opportunities to observe lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other wildlife in action.

Your guide will carefully follow wildlife movements and search for the most interesting sightings while allowing you time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.

Return to your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu Game Drive – Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, enjoy another morning game drive in the Ndutu area. This provides another opportunity to explore the migration zone and observe wildlife before leaving the area.

After your game drive, you will begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying the changing landscapes as you travel toward the crater highlands.

Arrive at your accommodation in the late afternoon, where you will relax, enjoy dinner and spend the night surrounded by the beautiful highland environment.

Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive & Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch for a full-day game drive.

The crater floor is home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with some luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. The beautiful crater landscape provides a spectacular final day of your safari.

After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to the agreed drop-off point in Arusha, or transfer to the airport for your onward fly to home.
