Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your Kili Extra Miles Adventure and Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge, explore the city or enjoy a safari briefing with your guide. This is a relaxed start to your adventure, giving you time to rest and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The park is famous for its impressive baobab trees, large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes and many bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave Tarangire and proceed toward the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Explore the crater floor, where you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and, with luck, black rhinos.
After lunch, ascend from the crater and continue toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the changing landscapes and possible wildlife sightings along the way before arriving at your accommodation in Serengeti.

Spend the afternoon exploring the northern part of the park, searching for wildebeests, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions and other wildlife before arriving at your accommodation.

For travelers with an evening flight, the journey can be planned to allow time for lunch and a final scenic drive before reaching Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
