Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your transfer into the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.

The drive from Hoedspruit Airport to Simbavati Waterside takes approximately 30 minutes.

Arrive at the lodge, check in and enjoy lunch, depending on your flight arrival time.

Later in the afternoon, meet your ranger and depart on your first open-vehicle safari through the private reserve.

Explore the African bush as the afternoon temperatures begin to cool. Your experienced ranger will track wildlife and interpret the surrounding ecosystem while you enjoy your first taste of a private Greater Kruger safari.

Return to the lodge after the game drive and enjoy dinner.

Klaserie Private Game Reserve

Wake early for tea or coffee before departing on your morning game drive.

The early morning is an excellent time to explore the reserve, with cooler temperatures and increased wildlife activity.

After approximately three hours in the bush, return to Waterside for breakfast.

Spend the middle of the day relaxing at the lodge. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, watch wildlife visiting the waterhole, relax around the swimming pool or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Klaserie wilderness.

Lunch is served at the lodge before your afternoon safari.

Later, meet your ranger for another afternoon game drive, continuing into the early evening. Your ranger will explore different areas of the reserve in search of wildlife and memorable safari encounters.

Return to the lodge for dinner.

Enjoy another complete day immersed in the Greater Kruger wilderness.

Begin with an early morning safari, allowing your ranger to follow up on tracks and sightings from the previous day while exploring new sections of the reserve.

Return to Waterside for breakfast followed by leisure time at the lodge.

The lodge's position overlooking a large waterhole means the safari experience does not necessarily stop when the game drive ends. Guests can relax and watch for wildlife moving through the surrounding bush and approaching the water.

Enjoy lunch before departing again in the afternoon.

Your final afternoon safari provides another opportunity to search for Klaserie's wildlife while enjoying the changing colours of the African bush towards sunset.

Return to Waterside for your final dinner and evening in the reserve.
