Day 1

Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park

Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park

After an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar, you'll head to the airport for a 7:30am flight to Arusha. You will arrive at 9:00am and be met by our safari guide for the start of your safari to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park, a Tanzanian treasure, is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including iconic baobab trees, vast savannahs, and the winding Tarangire River. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including large herds of elephants, majestic lions, and a variety of bird species. As one of Africa’s true gems, Tarangire offers an unforgettable safari experience, where nature’s wonders unfold at every turn.

After the game drive, you'll be transferred to your lodge around 5:00pm where you'll enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Ndutu Area – Southern Serengeti

Ndutu Area – Southern Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu Area, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. This is one of the most exciting areas to visit during the annual calving season, when large numbers of wildebeest gather on the short-grass plains.

Spend the day exploring the Ndutu plains in search of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and their newborn calves. The abundance of young animals also attracts predators, offering opportunities to see lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

Your guide will carefully explore the plains and surrounding areas, looking for wildlife activity and seasonal concentrations. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your exploration.

As the afternoon progresses, head toward your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful evening in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 3

Ndutu Area– Karatu

Ndutu Area– Karatu

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive around Ndutu, when wildlife is particularly active and the morning light creates excellent conditions for photography.

Continue exploring the calving grounds, looking for wildebeest mothers with newborn calves, zebra, gazelles and the predators that follow the seasonal herds. Depending on wildlife movements, your guide will choose the best areas to explore.

After the morning game drive, enjoy breakfast and continue with additional wildlife viewing before departing Ndutu toward Karatu.

Arrive in Karatu in the afternoon and have time to relax at your lodge, enjoy the surroundings or simply recover after an exciting day in the wilderness.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar

Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.

The crater floor is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife. Explore its grasslands, wetlands and woodland areas while looking for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and other wildlife. The crater also offers beautiful scenery, with the surrounding highlands forming a dramatic backdrop.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before beginning your ascent. Continue to Arusha Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar, concluding your 4-day safari.
