Pick Up & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari starts with a morning pickup from Entebbe and a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Enjoy the scenic journey through Uganda’s countryside, passing local communities, green landscapes and rolling hills. Stop for lunch along the way before continuing to Bwindi. On arrival, check in at your lodge and have time to relax after the long journey. Your guide will brief you about the next day’s gorilla trekking experience and help you prepare for the activity. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at your lodge, surrounded by the beautiful forest environment.

Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure. Enter the dense Bwindi rainforest with experienced guides and search for a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once you find the gorillas, spend time observing their behaviour and taking photographs while following the park’s trekking guidelines. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Batwa cultural experience and learn about the traditions, history and way of life of the Batwa people. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Departure & Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your journey from Bwindi back to Entebbe. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through the hills and countryside of southwestern Uganda. Your guide will make stops along the way where appropriate, including a lunch stop. Continue the journey towards Entebbe and enjoy the final views of Uganda’s countryside. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be dropped off at your preferred location, marking the end of your 3-day Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Experience with Menlyn Tours & Travel.
