Your African expedition begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation or airport in Victoria Falls. After a brief safety briefing and introduction to your driver, you will set off on an 80 km road transfer toward the Zimbabwe border post.
Upon reaching the Zimbabwe border crossing into Botswana, your guide will assist you with border protocols. Once in Kasane, you will head straight to Chobe House to check in, unpack, and refresh after your journey.
14:45 PM | Transfer to the Jetty: Board your transport from the lodge down to the Chobe River.
15:00 PM | 3-Hour Sunset River Cruise: Board a comfortable safari boat to explore the waterways of Chobe National Park. This offers prime opportunities to watch massive herds of elephants coming to drink, hippos podding along the banks, crocodiles basking on sandbars, and diverse birdlife.
18:00 PM | Return to Lodge: Experience a classic golden-hour African sunset on the water before heading back to Chobe House for dinner.

Day 2

05:45 AM, Pick-up at Chobe House: Be ready at the main entrance at 05:45 AM. Morning game drives depart promptly while temperatures are cool.
Morning Drive and Packed Breakfast: You will see the wildlife along the Chobe Riverfront and woodland trails. Your guide will select a designated, safe stretch or picnic site to stop for your packed breakfast.
Midday Drive and Packed Lunch: Continue exploring deeper into the park. A midday stop at a designated safe stretch or picnic spot will be set aside for your packed lunch.
03:00 PM, Return Transfer: Wrap up the full-day safari and return to Chobe House in the afternoon, giving you time to rest before the evening.

Day 3

Depart Kasane in your Toyota Quantum minibus. Rest Stop in Nata and stretch your legs, use facilities, and grab lunch and refreshments at Nata. Continue west toward Gweta. Turn off to Planet Baobab Lodge, located just outside Gweta village. Check-in and relaxation, settle into your traditional Bushman-style hut and relax after your long journey. Walk among huge, thousand-year-old baobabs with a local guide to learn about their ecology and local folklore.

Day 4

Departure for Ntwetwe Pan, board 4x4 open safari vehicle and head out into the Kalahari grasslands. Habituated Meerkat Interaction, visit the wild, habituated meerkat colonies along the edge of the pans. Watch them forage, dig, and potentially use you as a high lookout post. Drive onto the Pan into the vast, white expanses of Ntwetwe Pan. Campfire Dinner and Sleep-Out, settle around the campfire for a campfire-cooked dinner. Sleep in cozy bedrolls directly under the star-filled Kalahari night sky.

Day 5

Return to Planet Baobab, arrive back at Planet Baobab from the Ntwetwe salt pan sleep-out. Enjoy a warm breakfast, take a quick shower, and collect your stored luggage. Depart Gweta for Maun in your Toyota Quantum about 2.5 hour drive along the main highway. Stop in Maun (the tourism hub and gateway to the Okavango) for lunch, before heading to Okavango Inner Delta. Arrive at your camp/lodge in the Inner Delta, receive a briefing from camp staff, and settle into your room. Head out with a local guide to a nearby village or community (such as Sankuyo or Khwai villages). Learn about local customs, traditional livelihoods, crafts, and how local communities coexist with wildlife in the Delta. Enjoy dinner at your lodge/camp, often accompanied by local stories around the campfire.

Guided Morning Nature Walk and step out on foot with an armed, licensed guide and local tracker. Focus on tracks, droppings, medicinal plants, birdlife, and safe encounters with plains game (zebras, impala, lechwe). Return to camp/lodge, have lunch, relax and rest. Poler-Guided Mokoro Excursion and board a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro) pushed gently through lily-filled, shallow channels by a skilled local poler.
