Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park Game Drive

Your safari begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar around 04 Am to the airport for your flight which depart at 06:00 Am preserrved by us to Nyerere National Park.

Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip at approximately 6:30 AM, Our professional safari guide will meet and pick you up.

From the airstrip, begin your full-day game drive through Nyerere National Park, formerly part of the Selous Game Reserve.

Explore the park’s diverse landscapes while looking out for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife.

You will have the lunch at the picnic site locates inside the park. After the lunch you will proceed with the afternoon and the noon game drive

After a full day of wildlife viewing, continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Rufiji River Boat Safari & Wildlife Safari - Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, enjoy a Rufiji River boat safari, offering a unique opportunity to experience Nyerere National Park from the water. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and a variety of birdlife along the river.

After the boat safari, continue with a half-day game drive, exploring more of the park and searching for wildlife before heading to the Mtemere Airstrip.

Later, transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, departing at approximately 4:30 PM and arriving at around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel.
