Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar. Our driver will transfer you comfortably to the airport for your scheduled flight to the Mikumi safari area. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide and driver will meet you and begin the journey toward Mikumi National Park. Once you enter the park, begin your exciting full-day game drive across the park's beautiful landscapes. Keep your camera ready as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeest, impalas and other wildlife. Your guide will select suitable routes and areas based on wildlife movements and the conditions of the day. You will stop at the picnic site inside the park and enjoy your packed lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of Mikumi. After lunch, continue your game drive through the afternoon, exploring more of the park and looking for additional wildlife. Later afternoon leave the park and continue to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning Game drive & Afternoon flight to Zanzibar

Wake up at Camp Bastian Mikumi and enjoy the early morning breakfast before starting your second day of safari.
After breakfast, depart for a morning and afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park. The cooler morning hours can provide an excellent opportunity to explore the park and observe wildlife as animals become active. Continue your game drive until around midday, giving you additional time to search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and predators. Around lunchtime, enjoy your meal before preparing to leave the park. After lunch, begin your transfer toward the airport for your return flight. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will meet you and transfer you back to your preferred hotel. Your 2-day Mikumi safari ends with unforgettable memories of Tanzania's wildlife and landscapes.
