Your safari begins at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where you board a scheduled flight to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS).

On arrival in Hoedspruit, an Africa Moja Tours representative will meet you for your transfer to Simbavati Camp George in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.

After check-in, settle into your luxury accommodation and enjoy some time to relax before heading out on your first afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. Klaserie is home to the Big Five and other wildlife that moves freely throughout this unfenced Greater Kruger ecosystem.

Return to Camp George after the safari for dinner and your first night surrounded by the African bush.

Morning and afternoon Game Drives at Camp George

Start the morning early with refreshments before departing on a morning game drive with your professional safari guide.

The early hours offer excellent opportunities to explore the reserve while wildlife is active and temperatures are cooler. After the safari, return to Camp George for breakfast and spend the middle of the day relaxing at the lodge.

Enjoy lunch followed by leisure time before meeting your guide again for an afternoon/evening game drive. Continue exploring the Klaserie wilderness as the afternoon transitions into sunset and the nocturnal side of the bush begins to emerge.

Morning Safari - Hoedpsruit - Johannesburg or Cape Town

Wake up for your final morning game drive in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.

After the safari, return to Camp George for breakfast before checking out. You will then be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward flight.

Guests can select either:

Option 1: Hoedspruit (HDS) → Johannesburg (JNB)
Option 2: Hoedspruit (HDS) → Cape Town (CPT)

This flexibility makes the safari particularly suitable for guests continuing their South African holiday in Cape Town rather than having to return to Johannesburg.
