Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Cuckoo Safaris representative. After meeting your driver, you will begin the scenic road transfer to Hwange National Park.
Along the way, enjoy views of the Zimbabwean countryside and small rural communities before arriving at Hwange Safari Lodge. After checking in, the remainder of the day will be available for rest and relaxation as you prepare for the following day’s safari.

Full-Day Hwange National Park Safari
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest and most wildlife-rich national park.
Your professional guide will select the day’s route according to recent wildlife sightings, seasonal water availability and animal movements. Hwange is famous for its enormous elephant population and also supports lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, antelopes and hundreds of bird species.
A packed lunch will be served at a suitable picnic area inside the park, allowing you to remain surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. The safari continues during the afternoon before returning to the lodge at approximately 4:30 pm.

An optional early-morning game drive may be arranged for guests wishing to enjoy one final safari in Hwange. After breakfast, check out and travel to Victoria Falls.
Upon arrival, check in at Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge and enjoy some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you will be collected for a relaxing sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Cruise along the upper Zambezi while watching for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and abundant birdlife. Snacks and selected drinks will be served as the sun sets over the river.

Guided Tour of Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe and Zambia
After breakfast, meet your guide for a tour of Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning “The Smoke That Thunders,” Victoria Falls is one of the world’s most spectacular natural attractions. Walk through the rainforest and visit a selection of viewpoints offering breathtaking views of the waterfalls, gorge and Victoria Falls Bridge.
You will cross the international border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, allowing you to experience the Falls from two different perspectives. Please ensure you have the appropriate visa or entry arrangements for both countries. The afternoon will be available for relaxation or optional activities.

After breakfast, depart Victoria Falls and travel toward the Kazungula border. After completing immigration formalities, continue to Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park. Upon arrival, check in at Tlou Safari Lodge and prepare for an afternoon game drive. Chobe is renowned for its large elephant herds, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and diverse birdlife.
The late afternoon is a particularly rewarding time to explore the park as temperatures cool and animals become increasingly active.

Chobe Morning Game Drive and Sunset River Cruise
Begin the day with an early-morning game drive in Chobe National Park. Morning conditions provide excellent opportunities to see predators and other animals before the heat of the day. After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. During the afternoon, transfer to the Chobe River for a sunset boat safari.
The river cruise offers a different perspective of the park, with opportunities to see elephants bathing and crossing the river, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and numerous waterbirds. Return to the lodge after sunset.

After breakfast, check out and travel south toward Elephant Sands, a unique bush lodge situated near a natural waterhole frequently visited by elephants.
Upon arrival, check in and spend the afternoon relaxing while watching wildlife around the lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may arrange an optional guided activity or game drive.
Elephant sightings depend on natural wildlife movements and cannot be guaranteed, but the lodge offers a memorable wilderness atmosphere.

After breakfast, depart Elephant Sands and continue toward Planet Baobab, an atmospheric lodge surrounded by enormous baobab trees near the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. After checking in, spend the afternoon relaxing around the lodge or participate in an optional guided bush walk. This is an opportunity to learn about the plants, landscapes and smaller wildlife species of the Kalahari region.
Dinner will be served at the lodge in the evening.

Set out in a 4x4 vehicle to explore the impressive Ntwetwe Salt Pan and surrounding Kalahari grasslands. Your guide will explain how wildlife survives in this dry and challenging environment. Depending on the season, you may encounter bat-eared foxes, ground squirrels, ostriches and other desert-adapted animals.
One of the morning’s highlights is an encounter with a habituated meerkat colony. Observe these fascinating animals as they forage, interact and keep watch across the open landscape. During the green season, the region may also host migrating zebra and wildebeest.
After the activity, return to Planet Baobab before departing at approximately 1:00 pm for Maun. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion into the Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s most extraordinary wilderness areas.
Travel to the mokoro station, where experienced local polers will guide you through the Delta’s peaceful waterways in traditional dugout-style canoes. Glide quietly past reeds, papyrus and water lilies while observing colourful birdlife and other animals associated with the wetland ecosystem.
During the excursion, enjoy a guided nature walk on one of the Delta’s islands. Your guide will introduce you to animal tracks, plants and the ecology of this remarkable environment. Lunch will be served during the excursion before returning to Maun later in the afternoon.

Depart early in the morning for a full-day game drive in Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s finest wildlife destinations.
Moremi’s combination of floodplains, woodland, lagoons and open grassland supports an exceptional variety of animals. The reserve offers opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards, cheetahs and African wild dogs.
Your experienced guide will explore the most productive wildlife areas based on recent sightings and seasonal conditions. A packed lunch will be enjoyed inside the reserve before continuing the afternoon safari. Return to your Maun hotel at approximately 4:00 pm.
