Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you through the countryside and local communities before entering the park.
You will spend most of the day on a game drive, exploring the park in search of wildlife. Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephants and impressive baobab trees. Depending on the season, animals gather around the Tarangire River and other water sources, creating excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
You may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes and numerous bird species.
After the game drive, you will leave the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a budget lodge or similar accommodation.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
The crater is surrounded by spectacular volcanic walls and supports a wide variety of wildlife within a relatively small area. During the game drive, you will have opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and many species of birds. Black rhinos may also be seen, although wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the designated picnic area before continuing your exploration of the crater.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive.
The park offers a completely different environment from Tarangire and Ngorongoro, with groundwater forests, open grasslands and the alkaline Lake Manyara. During your game drive, you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, monkeys, hippos and many colorful bird species.
Lake Manyara is also known for reports of tree-climbing lions, although seeing them depends on luck and the animals' movements on the day.
After the game drive, exit the park and begin your journey back to Arusha and you will be transferred to JRO for fly home or continue with othe excursion.
