After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. You may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and many bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing exploration until late afternoon. Exit the park and proceed to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Continue with wildlife viewing while leaving the Serengeti, depending on the route and wildlife activity. Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying spectacular highland scenery. Arrive at the campsite on the crater rim or designated camping area, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular half/full-day game drive. The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos and, with luck, black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the crater's scenery before ascending in the afternoon. Continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Departure
After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive back toward Arusha. Depending on your departure time, you can stop for photographs, local shopping or a short cultural experience along the way. Arrive in Arusha around midday or afternoon, marking the end of your memorable 6-day budget camping safari. Then you will be transferred to JRO continue to Zanzibar excursion or fly home.
