Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or place of residence in Nairobi. Drive north through the scenic landscapes of central Kenya towards Meru National Park. The journey offers beautiful views of Kenya’s countryside and Mount Kenya region. Arrive at the park in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. Explore Meru’s diverse habitats, including open grasslands, woodlands and riverine areas. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions and a variety of bird species. As the afternoon cools, continue exploring the park before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of exploring Meru National Park. The morning game drive takes you through different sections of the park, where you can search for wildlife while enjoying the peaceful and relatively uncrowded wilderness. Meru is home to elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species. Follow the park's rivers and scenic tracks, which provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Enjoy lunch at the lodge or have a picnic lunch at a designated location before continuing with an afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, make your way back to camp while enjoying the changing colours of the landscape. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before checking out and departing Meru National Park for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the Laikipia region. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from the greener surroundings of Meru towards the open plains and dramatic scenery of northern Kenya. Arrive at Ol Pejeta in time for lunch and some relaxation before beginning your afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is one of Kenya's leading wildlife conservation areas and is particularly renowned for its rhino conservation efforts. During your game drive, look out for black and white rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. The conservancy's open plains provide excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, spend a full day discovering the wildlife and conservation experiences of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Begin with a morning game drive when temperatures are cooler and wildlife is generally more active. Explore the conservancy's grasslands and search for rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before continuing with an afternoon game drive. To make the day more unique, you can include a conservation experience such as a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary or a rhino conservation experience, subject to availability and additional charges. Enjoy the spectacular Laikipia landscape before returning to camp for your final dinner and overnight in the conservancy.

On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, place of residence or the airport, marking the end of your 5-day Meru and Ol Pejeta wildlife and conservation safari.
