Continue into Central Serengeti, an exceptional area known for its abundant wildlife and year-round presence of predators and herbivores. Keep your eyes open for lions resting on rocky outcrops, cheetahs scanning the plains, elusive leopards, towering giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffaloes and large herds of wildebeest. Ndutu is one of the most spectacular areas to experience the Great Migration, particularly when vast herds of wildebeest and other grazing animals gather across the plains. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through this wildlife-rich region, following the herds and watching for predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other opportunistic hunters. Wake up to the beauty of the Ndutu plains and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a final morning game drive in this remarkable wildlife area.
The morning offers an excellent opportunity to explore Ndutu while wildlife is active and the plains are beautifully illuminated by the early morning light. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and a variety of bird species.
After lunch, depart Ndutu and begin your scenic journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers beautiful views of Tanzania’s changing landscapes as you gradually leave the open plains of Ndutu behind.
Arrive in the Ngorongoro area in the afternoon and check in at your accommodation. Take the remainder of the day to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings, ready for tomorrow’s spectacular Ngorongoro Crater game drive.

Often described as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the crater offers a spectacular setting where dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife come together. As you explore the crater floor, keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and an impressive variety of birdlife. With some luck, you may also have the opportunity to spot the endangered black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the crater, surrounded by breathtaking views and the sounds of the wild, before continuing your game drive through this remarkable ecosystem.
Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive to Karatu, where you will check in and relax for the evening, reflecting on another memorable day of your Tanzanian adventure.

As you explore the park, keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, monkeys, hippos, and an impressive variety of bird species. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, a fascinating sight when you're lucky enough to encounter them.
After your final game drive, enjoy a delicious lunch before beginning your scenic journey back to Arusha.
