Upon your arrival day at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met with our driver and then after greetings, you will be transferred to Amboseli National park ready for wildlife game drive. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations, best known for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. Its open plains, seasonal lake and permanent wetlands attract an impressive variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and more than 400 species of birds.

Amboseli NP - Arusha Town via Namanga Border

In the morning after breakfast at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, you will check out of the lodge and then go to Namanga border where you will clear all governement formalities to enter Tanzania. Our Tanzania driver will pick you and then transferred to Arusha Town Parrot hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Arusha Town - Ngorongoro Crater

Today after breakfast at Parrot Hotel, our driver guide will pick you with your packed kunch boxes heading to Ngorongoro Crater for amazing Big 5 game drive. The crater is the flagship tourism feature for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is a large, unbroken, un-flooded caldera, formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed some three million years ago. The Ngorongoro crater sinks to a depth of 610 metres, with a base area covering 260 square kilometres. The height of the original volcano must have ranged between 4,500 to 5,800 metres high. Apart from the main caldera, Ngorongoro also has two other volcanic craters: Olmoti and Empakai, the former famous for its stunning waterfalls, and the latter holding a deep lake and lush, green walls.

Southern Serengeti full game drive

The southeastern portion of Serengeti is teeming with wildlife year round, but the peak in terms of wildlife density is between December and April. Giant herds of wildebeest and zebra are attracted by the seasonal rains pouring down. In this period the best area to see wildlife is around Lake Ndutu, in the heart of the wildebeest gathering. This is where female wildebeest give birth to countless calves and therefore makes up one of the highlight of the Great Migration. All these young herbivores serve as a magnet to predators with the result of southeastern Serengeti becoming the dramatic scene of new life, and death. The vachellia woodlands surrounding the lakes provide shelter to a range of birds not to be found elsewhere in the Serengeti. Stay alert and you may spot a fantastically coloured Fischer's lovebird.
