5-Day Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara Safari

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel or airport by your safari guide, followed by a safari briefing before departing for Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a 2–3-hour drive via the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint to admire the breathtaking escarpment and capture memorable photographs.

Arrive at your resort for check-in and lunch. After lunch, proceed for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, gliding across the freshwater lake with opportunities to see hippos and a variety of water-birds, including African fish eagles, pelicans, herons, and cormorants.

Later, return to your accommodation to relax, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out and depart for Hell’s Gate National Park for a morning nature experience. Explore the park by bicycle and on foot, cycling alongside zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes while enjoying the dramatic scenery. Continue with a guided nature walk and visit Fischer’s Tower, a popular rock-climbing site.

Later, depart Hell’s Gate for Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Check in and enjoy some time to rest before heading out for an evening game drive.

Explore Lake Nakuru in search of black and white rhinos, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife, while also enjoying the park’s diverse birdlife. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, check out and depart for the Masai Mara, a 4–5-hour journey from Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

Explore the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, with opportunities to encounter hippos and crocodiles along the Mara River. Later, enjoy a spectacular African sundowner across the vast savannah plains, creating an exceptional setting for wildlife photography and documentary footage.

Full-Day Game Drive - Masai Mara National Reserve

Rise early and enjoy breakfast at your lodge before setting out for a full-day game drive across the Masai Mara. The cool early morning hours offer ideal conditions for wildlife viewing, when animals are at their most active and big cats are often on the move. Enjoy exceptional sightings of lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife across the endless Mara plains.

Around lunchtime, pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by panoramic views of the vast savannah plains. Continue your game drive through the afternoon, exploring the Mara’s wildlife-rich plains.
