Your safari begins with a morning pickup in Nairobi and a drive through the Great Rift Valley towards the Maasai Mara. Pause at a viewpoint, then continue to Miti Mingi Eco Camp for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enter the reserve for your first game drive in a shared pop-up-roof 4x4. The plains offer an exciting introduction as your driver-guide searches for grazing herds, giraffes, elephants and predators, explaining the wildlife and landscape along the way. No two drives are alike, and there is time to enjoy each sighting as it unfolds. Return to camp as evening approaches for dinner and your first night near the reserve. Your guide will help you understand how the Mara’s seasons shape wildlife movement, setting the scene for the two full days ahead. Lunch, dinner and park entry for today’s drive are included.

Wake to a full day in the Maasai Mara, with no long road transfer taking time away from game viewing. After breakfast, leave Miti Mingi Eco Camp with a packed lunch and set out across the reserve in your shared pop-up-roof 4x4. Your driver-guide will choose a route suited to the day’s conditions and wildlife activity, pausing to watch what you encounter. Search for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelope and big cats; sightings are wild and cannot be promised. Stop for lunch at a suitable place, then continue exploring through the afternoon. There is time to stay with a good sighting rather than rush from one stop to another. Return to camp for dinner and your second night. A hot-air balloon safari can be requested in advance at additional cost, subject to availability. Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner and today’s Mara entry are included.

Another full day in the Mara gives you a chance to see a different side of the reserve. After breakfast, take a packed lunch and head out with your driver-guide for unhurried game viewing. Wildlife moves constantly, so today’s route and sightings may be entirely different from yesterday’s. Look beyond the famous predators: watch herds across the grasslands, notice birds overhead and take time to understand the smaller interactions that bring this landscape to life. Your guide will stop at an appropriate place for lunch before continuing the drive. Return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp in the evening for dinner and your third night. This extra day rewards patient observation as much as distance travelled. A Maasai village visit can be requested at additional cost, subject to availability and timing. Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner and today’s Mara entry are included.

After three nights near the Maasai Mara, enjoy breakfast and check out of Miti Mingi Eco Camp. Travel with your driver-guide towards Nakuru, watching the scenery change from open grasslands to towns, farmland and the hills around the lake. Stop for the lunch included in your tour along the way. This is a road journey, allowing a realistic arrival at Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort. Check in, rest after the drive and enjoy dinner at the hotel. Tomorrow’s visit to Lake Nakuru National Park brings a new landscape and a chance to search for rhinos and diverse birdlife. No park game drive is scheduled today; your Mara game viewing took place on the previous three days. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, with your overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort.

Begin with an early breakfast, then check out and enter Lake Nakuru National Park for your final game drive. Its lakeshore, woodland and open areas offer a striking change from the Maasai Mara. Your driver-guide will search for rhinos, buffalo, giraffes and birdlife while sharing what makes this park distinctive; sightings depend on wildlife and conditions. After the drive, leave the park and stop for the lunch included in your tour. Continue to Nairobi for drop-off at the agreed location later in the day, depending on road conditions and traffic. Your safari ends with two different Kenyan landscapes to remember: the wide plains of the Mara and the varied habitats around Lake Nakuru. Breakfast, lunch and today’s Lake Nakuru park entry are included. An airport transfer can be arranged separately on request at additional cost.
