Your safari adventure begins at Cape Town International Airport, where you board a morning scheduled flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

Upon arrival, meet your Africa Moja Tours representative for your private road transfer to Pilanesberg National Park. Leave the city behind as the scenery changes to the beautiful bushveld landscapes of South Africa's North West Province.

Arrive at Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge, check in and enjoy lunch before preparing for your first safari adventure.

Later in the afternoon, board an open safari vehicle with an experienced ranger and head into Pilanesberg for your first game drive. Search for the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo – together with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and numerous antelope species.

Return to the lodge after your safari for dinner and a relaxing evening in the African bush.

Explore the reserve with your professional ranger, searching for lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and perhaps the elusive leopard. Along the way, encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife against Pilanesberg's distinctive volcanic landscapes.

Return to Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge for breakfast and enjoy some leisure time. Relax beside the swimming pool, enjoy the lodge surroundings or visit the underground hide overlooking the waterhole.

After lunch, head back into the reserve for an afternoon game drive, giving you another opportunity to explore different areas and search for wildlife as temperatures begin to cool.

Today offers another complete day of safari experiences in the beautiful Pilanesberg National Park.

Begin before sunrise with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is often at its most active. Your ranger will explore different routes and waterholes, giving you another opportunity to encounter the Big Five and discover animals you may not have seen during the previous day's safaris.

Return to Kwa Maritane for breakfast and spend the middle of the day relaxing at the lodge. Enjoy lunch before preparing for your final afternoon safari.

Head back into Pilanesberg as the afternoon light softens across the bushveld. Keep your camera ready for elephants gathering near waterholes, giraffes moving across the plains or perhaps lions preparing for the evening.

Return to Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge after your final game drive and enjoy dinner and your last evening in the African wilderness.
