Visit the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to some of the country's most important archaeological treasures, including Lucy (Dinkinesh), one of the world's most famous early human fossils. Continue to important city landmarks and viewpoints if time permits.
Depending on your arrival time, you may also visit a local market or enjoy a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

Day 2

Take a morning flight to Arba Minch.
After arrival, drive to Lake Chamo and visit the Crocodile Ranch area. The lakes and surrounding wetlands are known for large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird species.
Continue to the Dorze Highlands, home to the Dorze people. The Dorze are famous for their distinctive bamboo-and-grass houses, traditional weaving, cotton production, farming, and unique cultural traditions.
Enjoy a traditional meal and learn about daily life in the village before returning to Arba Minch.

Day 3

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive toward Turmi.
Stop in Konso, a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape famous for its terraced hillsides, traditional villages, stone structures, agricultural traditions, and distinctive wooden waka funerary statues.
Enjoy lunch and a guided visit to a traditional Konso village. The landscape itself is an important part of the experience: generations of farmers have created extensive terraces to cultivate the steep hillsides.
Continue toward Turmi through the dramatic landscapes of the Omo Valley.

Travel from Turmi toward Omorate, near the Omo River, and visit a Dassanech village.
The Dassanech people live in one of the most remote areas of southern Ethiopia. Learn about their traditional lifestyle, clothing, hairstyles, cattle culture, and relationship with the Omo River.
In the afternoon, return toward Turmi and visit a Hamer village. The Hamer are particularly known for their traditional ceremonies, distinctive hairstyles, body decoration, colorful clothing, and cattle-based culture.
If a genuine local bull-jumping ceremony is scheduled during your visit, you may have the opportunity to attend. This is an important Hamer rite associated with young men's transition into adulthood.

Day 5

Begin the day with a visit to the Karo people, who live along the Omo River.
The Karo are famous for their elaborate body and face painting, scarification traditions, and spectacular location overlooking the Omo River. Your guide will explain the cultural meaning behind their decorations and traditions.
Continue toward the other side of Omorate and experience the landscapes and communities around the Omo River.
In the afternoon, continue toward Jinka and visit a Mursi village if road and local conditions permit. The Mursi are well known for their distinctive cultural traditions, body decoration, cattle herding, and traditional way of life.
You may also visit a local market, where different communities from the region come together to trade livestock, agricultural products, clothing, and household goods.

In the morning, visit Ari Village and the South Omo Ethnological Museum to learn more about the local culture, traditions, and way of life.
After the visits, take your flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, transfer to the city and visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral and Betä Maryam Church.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant, accompanied by traditional food, music, and cultural performances. This will mark the end of your Ethiopian tour.
After dinner, transfer to Bole International Airport for your departure flight.
