4-Day Midrange Safari in Lake Naivasha & Masai Mara

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Your adventure will begin with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA, followed by a direct drive to Lake Naivasha.

On the way, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the escarpment.

You will then continue your journey and arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch, check in at the Naivasha Kongoni Lodge, freshen up and enjoy a hot lunch.

At around 4:00 pm, after some time to relax, you will head for a Hippo boat ride and Crescent Island Tour visit at Lake Naivasha.

Afterwards, you will return to the lodge for a hot dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Masai Mara, one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves.

You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. Check in at Elangata Olerai Tented Camp, check in and have lunch.

Later you will proceed for an afternoon game drive at around 4:00 pm. Masai Mara features Kenya's highest concentration of wildlife and is a highlight of every safari. You can easily spot the Big Five, along with many other animals.
If your safari takes place between July and October, you will have the chance to witness the annual wildebeest migration, considered the 7th Wonder of the World, especially as the animals cross the crocodile-infested Mara River.

After the game drive, you will return to the camp to freshen up and enjoy dinner, followed by an overnight stay at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will leave the camp with a packed lunch for a full day of game driving in the Mara Reserve, where you will search for Big Five and other wildlife.

You will have a picnic lunch at the park. In the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
