Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your transfer team will meet you and assist with luggage before driving to Arusha. The arrival day is intentionally relaxed, allowing you to recover from your international journey rather than beginning the safari tired.
At the hotel, meet your safari guide for a detailed briefing covering tomorrow’s departure time, luggage arrangements, charging equipment, meals, dietary preferences, and any optional activities. Your private vehicle can be adapted to suit your preferences throughout the safari.
The evening is free to enjoy dinner and rest. Before departure, your guide will confirm the day’s schedule, meal plan, and expected arrival time. Road times remain approximate due to weather, traffic, park procedures, and wildlife stops.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park and begin your first game drive before lunch. Explore the park’s iconic baobab woodlands, seasonal marshes, and river system, following fresh tracks and recent wildlife activity.
Tarangire rewards patient, flexible driving. Your guide will choose routes based on wildlife movement, road conditions, and seasonal patterns, with elephant herds often among the highlights. Enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive as temperatures cool and wildlife becomes more active.
Continue exploring before exiting the park and transferring to your lodge. Arrive before dark with time to relax, freshen up, and enjoy dinner.

Depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. The early start allows you to enjoy cooler conditions, lighter traffic, and active wildlife as you explore the crater floor.
Your guide will adapt the route to current conditions, covering open grasslands, wetlands, forest margins, and the lake area. Enjoy a picnic lunch at an authorised site while taking time for unhurried wildlife viewing. Possible sightings include lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and the endangered black rhino, although wildlife encounters are never guaranteed.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to your accommodation near the rim or within the conservation area, allowing you to relax after a rewarding day.

Enjoy an early game drive with cooler temperatures and softer morning light, or opt for a hot-air balloon safari, subject to availability, weather, age, mobility, and operator requirements. After breakfast or lunch, continue exploring the plains, river valleys, and kopjes before a relaxed afternoon game drive.
Return to camp in the evening for your final night in the Serengeti.

Fly from Seronera to Arusha, where you will meet your onward transfer. Guests with international departures require a sufficiently late flight connection; otherwise, an additional night in Arusha can be arranged for a more relaxed journey.
Travelers continuing to Zanzibar may connect with a suitable scheduled flight from Arusha.
