Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, your safari continues to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend approximately 600 metres into this breathtaking natural wonder for an unforgettable game drive.

Known as one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including the rare and endangered black rhino. Thanks to its permanent water sources and rich grasslands, the crater supports large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and majestic elephants.

The crater is also famous for its impressive population of predators. Keep your eyes open for lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. With its dramatic scenery and extraordinary wildlife, a day in the Ngorongoro Crater promises memories you will treasure forever.

Tarangire national park

You'll drive to Tarangire National Park which is famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. You will do a game drive through the park, depending on the reported sightings of animals (mostly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they are harder to spot). Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, etc. are plenty to see throughout the park.

You will leave the park and return to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
