3-Day Rhino Track and Murchison Falls Safari

Entebbe– Ziwa Rhino sanctuary– Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, your Afriquest Travels driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe and begin the journey northwards towards Murchison Falls National Park.

En route, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda's important rhino conservation and breeding centre. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing from the sanctuary guides before setting out on a guided rhino-tracking experience.

The tracking experience provides an opportunity to observe southern white rhinos in their natural environment while learning about rhino conservation and the sanctuary's efforts to protect and increase Uganda's rhino population.

After the activity, continue towards Murchison Falls National Park with a stop for lunch along the way.
Proceed to Murchison Falls and check in at Hornbill Bush Lodge. Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the surrounding natural environment.

Murchison Falls– Game Drive And Victoria Nile Boat Cruise

Rise early and enjoy breakfast before setting out for a morning game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park.

The morning game drive offers excellent opportunities to explore the park's Savannah landscapes and search for wildlife and a variety of Savannah bird species

Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls, with opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and diverse waterbirds.

After the boat cruise, proceed for a guided hike to the Top of Murchison Falls. The hike takes you through the surrounding landscape to viewpoints overlooking the dramatic gorge where the mighty Victoria Nile is compressed through a narrow channel before plunging downstream.

At the top of the falls, enjoy spectacular views of the powerful waters, take photographs and appreciate the scenery before returning to the lodge.

Depart Murchison Falls national park for Entebbe

After breakfast at the lodge, check out and begin your journey back to Entebbe.

Drive southwards through the scenic countryside, with opportunities to enjoy the changing landscapes of northern and central Uganda. A lunch stop will be made en route.

Continue the journey towards Entebbe, arriving in the late afternoon or evening. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.

This marks the end of your 3-Day Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls Safari with Afriquest Travels.
