Your safari begins in Arusha, where you will meet your professional safari guide and depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the scenic journey through the Tanzanian countryside as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for an exciting game drive across its spectacular floor. Explore diverse habitats and look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and a variety of bird species. After your game drive and a picnic lunch, ascend the crater walls and continue toward Olekamwanja Lodge. Full Ndutu

Today is the highlight of your safari as you spend a full day exploring the spectacular Ndutu plains during the Great Migration calving season. After breakfast, set out with your experienced safari guide to follow the movement of the migrating herds across the open grasslands. During this special season, large numbers of wildebeest gather in Ndutu to give birth, offering wonderful opportunities to witness newborn calves, mothers caring for their young, and herds moving across the plains. The abundance of prey also attracts predators, so keep watch for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive in search of more wildlife and memorable photographic moments. As the day comes to an end, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African bush.

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in the spectacular Ndutu wilderness with a short morning game drive before beginning your journey back to Arusha. The early hours offer another opportunity to spot wildlife as animals take advantage of the cooler temperatures. Keep your eyes open for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, and, with luck, predators such as lions, cheetahs, or hyenas. As you leave the Ndutu plains, enjoy the changing scenery as the open grasslands gradually give way to the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands and surrounding countryside.
