Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced safari guides and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Once you arrive, you can relax and unwind before enjoying dinner and spending the night at the hotel.

Arusha is a lively city in northern Tanzania, beautifully situated at the foot of Mount Meru. Known as the safari capital of the region, it provides easy access to some of East Africa’s most renowned destinations, including Serengeti National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro. Rising to 5,895 meters above sea level, Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest mountain and lies approximately 100 kilometers northeast of Arusha.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a guided game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing the game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

After breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park, where you will enjoy a full day of guided game viewing across its endless savannah plains. The Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife, offering opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other fascinating species in their natural habitat.

Throughout the day, explore different areas of the park with your experienced guide, keeping an eye out for predators and other wildlife while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Serengeti. After an exciting wildlife experience, ascend the crater and begin your journey towards Arusha. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Tanzanian countryside and surrounding highlands. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari and continuing with your onward travel arrangements.
