Day 1
Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up in Nairobi and a drive towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley and into the changing landscapes of southern Kenya, with the busy city gradually giving way to open countryside and Maasai settlements. After arriving in the Mara area, you will check in at Mara Endeem Resort and have lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive.
The afternoon is your first introduction to the Mara's open grasslands. Your guide will look for wildlife activity, where you may encounter plain wildlife and some of the big five. The Mara is also an important habitat for predators, so keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs and, with luck, leopards. As the afternoon light softens, the landscape takes on a different character and wildlife often becomes more active. Return to the resort in the evening for dinner and overnight stay for your first night.

Day 2
Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve
Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve
Today is dedicated entirely to the Masai Mara, giving you more time to experience the reserve. After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. The cooler morning hours offer a good opportunity to search for predators before the temperatures rise.
Your guide will follow the wildlife activity of the day you may come across large herds of wildebeest and zebra, giraffes feeding in the distance, elephants moving across the plains or buffalo gathered in large groups. Where conditions allow, your guide will also search for the Mara's big cats.
The exact wildlife experience is naturally unpredictable, which is part of what makes a safari special. The Mara's landscape changes with the seasons, and wildlife movements depend on food, water and weather.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated location before continuing your game drive into the afternoon.
Return to Mara Endeem Resort later in the day for dinner and a relaxed evening.

Day 3
Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, leave the Mara behind and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
The drive takes you through Kenya's countryside and back towards the Great Rift Valley. On arrival in the Nakuru area, continue to the park for a game drive, time permitting depending on the day's road conditions and arrival time.
Lake Nakuru is known for its rhinos and diverse birdlife, but the park offers much more than the lake itself. The surrounding woodland and open grasslands provide habitat for buffalo, zebra, giraffe, waterbuck and other wildlife. You may also encounter lions and other predators.
The scenery changes as you drive around the lake, from open plains to wooded areas and viewpoints overlooking the Rift Valley.
Later, leave the park and continue to Oldorado Rustic Hotel & Garden for check-in and dinner.

Lake Nakuru – Hell's Gate National Park – Lake Naivasha Boat Ride
Lake Nakuru – Hell's Gate National Park – Lake Naivasha Boat Ride
After breakfast, continue towards Lake Naivasha and the dramatic landscapes of Hell's Gate National Park. Hell's Gate offers the chance to experience the landscape at a closer pace. Enjoy a guided walking or cycling experience through the park.
The scenery here is one of the highlights. Towering cliffs, rocky formations and open grassland create a very different setting from the Mara and Nakuru. Zebra, giraffe, buffalo and gazelles are commonly encountered, while the cliffs provide nesting sites for several species of birds of prey. After the Hell's Gate experience proceed to the hotel to check in then have lunch. Later in the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by acacia woodland and rich birdlife. Keep an eye out for African fish eagles perched around the lake and hippos resting in the water. The boat ride offers a slower, quieter contrast to the safari drives. After the boat ride, proceed to Burch's Resort for dinner and overnight.

Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart Naivasha for Amboseli National Park.
Today is one of the longer travel days of the safari as you cross a large section of southern Kenya. The journey takes you through changing landscapes and local towns before approaching the Amboseli ecosystem.
Have lunch along the way before continuing towards Amboseli.
On arrival, proceed to Nyati Safari Camp and check in. Depending on your arrival time and park access, you may have the opportunity for an afternoon game drive. If the timing does not allow for a full game drive, the afternoon can be spent settling into camp and enjoying the surroundings.
Amboseli is particularly known for its large elephant herds and open plains, with Mount Kilimanjaro forming the iconic backdrop when weather conditions provide clear views.

Day 6
Full-Day Amboseli National Park
Full-Day Amboseli National Park
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. The early hours are a special time in Amboseli. The air is cooler, wildlife is active and, on a clear morning, Mount Kilimanjaro can appear dramatically above the plains.
Explore the park's different habitats with your guide, including the areas around the Amboseli wetlands. These water-rich areas attract elephants, buffalo, hippos and numerous bird species, while the surrounding grasslands are home to zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelope.
Return to camp for breakfast and some time to relax before heading out again later in the morning or afternoon.
The afternoon game drive gives you another opportunity to experience the park at a different time of day. Rather than chasing a particular animal, your guide will respond to wildlife sightings and the conditions on the ground.
Return to Nyati Safari Camp for your final evening in the Amboseli ecosystem.
