Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Begin your safari with an early check-in at Entebbe International Airport at 6:00 am for your domestic flight to Kihihi Airport. The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, followed by a drive of about 50 minutes to your luxury lodge overlooking Bwindi Forest. After settling in, relax and enjoy the forest views, or arrange optional activities through the lodge reception at an additional cost.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today brings the highlight of your safari: meeting Bwindi’s mountain gorillas. After a hearty breakfast, drive approximately six minutes to the park headquarters for a briefing, which usually begins with a traditional dance performance. You will join a group of up to eight trekkers and be assigned a gorilla family. The trek may take around four to eight hours in total, depending on the family’s location. Once you reach the gorillas, spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. A face mask is required during the encounter. Afterwards, return to your luxury lodge to relax.

Depending on the flight schedule, there may be stops at other airstrips along the way.
